I'm so disappointed it was Costa coffee, but it was lukewarm, so I returned it. I was pleasant when I asked the waitress. She finally came back and slammed the coffee cups on the table and didn't even speak. This coffee tasted strange, and neither I nor my husband could drink it. His soup tasted burnt. Not the first time service was poor, but this was the worst. Ruined the ending of a nice visit to Girvan.

Got given the wrong tray bake which in itself wasn't a problem but the girl made it a problem with her attitude when I asked if she could change it. Everything else was okay.

Lovely farm and gift shop. Restaurant is very spacious with great views overlooking the Clyde coast. Food fresh and reasonably priced. Seating available outside and dog friendly.

Dowhill Country Fare delivered a pleasant 4-star experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel comfortable from the moment I stepped in. The food was fresh and tasty, offering good value for the price. I wouldn't call it anything mind-blowing, but it definitely hit the spot. Recommend for a casual and enjoyable meal with top-notch service.

What a dissapointment. We were looking forward to visiting this place on our short break in Ayr having been there several times previously. Completely changed since our last visit. No service, no attending staff and very, very limited menu. You don't often get a mug with a teabag in it. What's that all about.
